Trading live with professionals

I spoke last night at the ATAA meeting in Brisbane Last night.

It was fun for me to get out and speak to traders eager to improve their trading.

I've been a bit of a mushroom lately, hiding in an office full of screens and surfacing for a meal and the occasional surf.

I've attached a copy of the slides I used for my talk below.

I also added a Excel copy slide of a 300 sample size of Dax trades that I did after completing the Pride trading class.

I spent some time talking about the necessity of keeping records in sample sizes to manage and review your results.

The charts that I use have proprietary signals that trigger in real time and keep me from trading against the odds. (wrong side of the market).

Trading Analytics

Some refining work has been done with the software that has reduced the signals to prime areas only.

The results overall have been impressive which I will show examples and run live tomorrow at the Brisbane ATAA meeting.

After the presentation I will put on the blog some of the pics and go through the trading sequences that the analytics pick up.

Trading and latest news

I've been missing in action over the past couple of weeks getting together some software tools for my presentation at the ATAA next Wednesday.

I'll be able to start putting together some blogs over the weekend  of the proprietary trading system and plans for the year.

We have a few exciting developments that I have been using for my trading that I can now showcase in more detail.

Here is a quick snapshot of the Dax trade signals that executed live in yesterday's session.

Trade Signal 2

I have been using the trade signal software with success again today as we had some nice volatility.

I use X-trader from Trading Technologies  for the Dax but the charts I use are from Ninjatrader using Esignal data.

On the Dax chart I can show the entry signals on Ninjatrader charts and the 6E (Euro FX) executions today.

The first 2 signals on the Dax did not have much follow but I managed to scalp a small profit watching the reversal bar.

The last signal initiated a big trend move of 60 pts at the time of writing.

Entries were great but the exits I did today on the 6E were way too early considering the prime trade setup.

It's not the worst problem to have and I think it is a matter of getting back in the flow after the time in Melbourne.
